PINOT GRIS 2008
 |
Winemaker’s
comments
The grapes were whole bunch pressed to minimise extraction of
skin phenolics and cool fermented in stainless steel tanks. The
ferment was stopped to maintain a small residual sugar level to
balance the acidity.
Bottled: 13th August 2008
Alcohol: 12.5%
Acidity: 6.2 g/L
Residual sugar: 7.2 g/L

Tasting Notes
Appearance - Crystal clear – very pale lemon

Palate – Off dry, vivacious, with intense pear, quince and
tropical fruit flavours, this wine is crisp and full bodied with a rich creamy
