2007 Aurum Madeleine Pinot Noir
Inky dark and silky textured, this wine has an intense nose of black currant and cedar wood with deep peaty flavours, black fruits and liquorice, with fine tannins and along and complex finish."Classy wine with impressively powerful fruit flavours although not made in a 'fruit bomb' style. In addition to plum, dark cherry and spice/anise there's mineral, forest floor and woodsmoke. Seriously complex Pinot Noir with a good structure of ripe tannins for an assured future.
